[IT] scuolaviva è la rivista delle scuole della Fondazione San Benedetto, il cui primo numero, curato dall’associazione Amici della San Benedetto è uscito proprio in questi giorni. Seed se ne rallegra innanzitutto perché è un successo per le scuole, che ci ospitano e con cui collaboriamo nel progetto Narrativa, insieme all’OTAF. Ma anche perché scuolaviva contiene un articolo di Chiara Bramani, che racconta del corso di alfabetizzazione informatica tenuto da Chiara stessa alla scuola media Parsifal.

[EN] On March 4, we finally got in touch with the healthcare professionals and home assistants from Canton Ticino, who will participate to the experimentation of COACH BOT.
We presented the virtual platform and its main instruments and gave some suggestions about how to manage the course in the next three months.
We will keep in touch with them in the next weeks, and hope to get a lot of positive feedbacks!

The project “P.IN.O.K.I.O.- Pupils for INnOvation as a Key to Intercultural and social inclusion” aiming at promoting intercultural dialogue against social exclusion, using fairy tale characters as a ‘way’ of communication for pre-school and school children, migrant children and their parents is going ahead!

Studio e realizzazione dello script per permettere donazioni on-line dirette alla Fraternità San Carlo Borromeo direttamente dal loro portale web.

Tale script, integrato nella struttura WordPress con cui è stato realizzato il portale, presenta sia una parte pubblica dove l’utente può inserire i propri dati e procedere alla donazione, sia una parte privata, nella quale gli amministratori possono visualizzare le offerte ricevute e vederne lo stato.

[IT] Il 26 gennaio si è tenuta l’assemblea di seed per il 2010. Sono stati approvati rapporto e bilancio 2009, e si è discusso del rafforzamento del team, di nuove linee guida per la gestione interna e del personale, e sugli obiettivi strategici per il 2010. Come sempre, grazie ai membri del consiglio di seed, non si è trattato di un momento formale ma di un fruttuoso momento di lavoro strategico. … ed è stata anche l’occasione per inaugurare la nuova sede di seed!

[EN] On January 26th the annual seed assembly was held. The 2009 annual report and balance sheet were approved, and the discussion focused on team development, new guidelines for administration and HR management, and on stretegic objectives for 2010. As usual, thanks to the substantial contribution of seed committee members, it was much more than a formality, but an intense moment of shared strategic work. … and also the opportunity for “office warming” at seed’s new premises!

[EN] On the 14th and 15th of January Ljubljana (Slo) hosted a meeting with all the partners of COACHBOT. The main point was the presentation of the e-learning platform that will be used by the healthcare professionals who will participate to the course.
It was very useful to discuss all together each part, tool and functionality of the platform, in order to make it as close and suitable as possible to the needs and skills of the target group of this project.

[EN] January 2010 was a month full with events. Currently, a plenary meeting for the SEE A Game project is being held in Ancona (Italy), with the participation of Luca Botturi. Games for developing entrepreneurial attitudes – this is the goal of the project.

Games are now stable and in production – and this is where seed gave it largest contribution. We discussed the graphic design (see pictures – many improvements are possible and needed!), deadlines for translation and production, training design and organization. A fruitful meeting, indeed.

Training – design and delivery in Switzerland – will be the next task of seed.

[EN] On January 15-16-17 seed held a new workshop on digital storytelling with 14 educators and 10 kids and girls from DND. Educators came to Opatija from all over Croatia, and invested a whole week-end to learn about digital storytelling as a method to engage in deep learning work with young people.

Workshop participants game very good feedback, as an addition to the 4 short video stories produced with different artistic techniques.

This is the follow-up of the 1-week workshop that seed held in Summer 2009 in Varaždin. Results were so positive, that DND invited again seed, who managed to find funds from Canton Ticino. This workshop was a milestone for continuing collaboration – new project ideas are already underway.
