[EN] The FRIDA workshop started: Isabella and Milena, who is collaborating with seed for this project due to her extensive knowledge of the use of ICT for educational purposes in the Brazilian context, are in Brasilia at CEFE, leading a workshop on how to design and develop web 2.0 school journal. [ for more details on the project see a previous post]

15 educators participate at the workshop, coming from two institutions:

  • CEFE – Centro Educativo e Formativo, which supports high school students to improve their educational background in order to help them to enter at university, and,
  • ANSMH – Associação Nossa Senhora da Mãe dos Homens, which works with primary schools children organizing after school activities.

The workshop is divided in two main parts: educators are gaining technical skills needed to develop a blog so that they will be able to support their students along the year in the publication of the web 2.0 journal. But the most interesting and important part of the project is the design of the concept of the web 2.0 journal and to plan roles and publication along the year.

During the week educators are creating their own blog to exercize both technical and communicative skills: the blog of the week is about Brasilia and its Satellite Cities…it deserves a visit!
